Meet Miss Kelsey and Miss Megan!

Miss Kelsey Wright

Miss Kelsey is teaching our wonderful Watercolor and Printmaking class this summer. She has a BFA in Photogoraphy and Poetry and a Masters in Secondary Education in Fine Art and English. Formerly, Miss Wright was a High School teacher but has been working as a teaching artist for the ast two years - lucky us! Her work as a teaching artist included studio lighting, poetry, pohotography, Graphic Design, Digital Media, papermaking, watercolor and integrating media and technology and art into the classroom. Wow! She's originally from Arizona and did her Undergrad with Columbia College. Fun Fact: Miss Kelsey is an avid cyclist and believes that everyone should dance!

Miss Megan Narowski

Miss Megan has been working with students with Speical Needs for six years. Originally from Massachussets, she is currently at Columbia College getting her Bachelor's in Art and Design and Minoring in Teaching Artist. She says her dad got her into art at an early age, and now she does everything from cartooning to fine art! Fun Fact: Megan is a volunteer at PAWS and will be running on their behalf at the Chicago Marathon in October! Make sure to cheer her on!

Our students are having a great time in class, and we can't wait to do more!
