Meet Ms Rachel, our 3rd and 4th Grade Counselor!

Rachel Foss grew up in Michigan where she recieved her Bachelor of Arts in Film and Design. After spending a year in Vermont to attend the Center for Cartoon Studies, she moved to Chicago in 2012 and started creating and publishing her own comics and recently started her own design business. Since then, she has pubslished several of her own comics and books and been featured in several more publications around the country, and has also taught Art, Comics and Illustration at several Chicago schools and facilities such as Hyde Park Art Center and Beauty and Brawn Art Gallery. She LOVES working for BASA, but also enjoys riding her book, checking out amazing Chicago restaurants, visiting the Lake on nice days, anything Harry Potter related, and resting at home with her cats and friends.
